1. Cancellation Policy

Shippers may cancel a booking through the FreightPK platform. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation:

Before Dispatch: If a booking is cancelled before the carrier has been dispatched, the shipper is entitled to a full refund of any prepaid amount, and no cancellation fee will be charged.
After Dispatch: If a booking is cancelled after the carrier has started transit to the pickup location, a cancellation fee of 15% of the total freight fare will be charged to cover carrier fuel and displacement costs.
After Loading: Once cargo is loaded onto the vehicle, cancellations are not permitted, and the full fare remains payable.

2. Failed Pickups and Carrier No-Show

If a carrier fails to arrive at the pickup location within the designated window (plus a 1-hour grace period):

The shipper may cancel the booking with no penalty.
A full refund of any prepaid amount will be processed immediately.
The carrier may be subject to platform penalties and a rating markdown.

3. Damaged or Lost Cargo Claims

In the event of cargo loss, damage, or shortage during transit:

Shippers must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery (or the scheduled delivery date) by filing a dispute in the platform.
Shippers must provide photographic evidence, the consignment note, and proof of cargo value.
Carrier payments for the disputed shipment will be placed on hold until the dispute is resolved.
Compensation will be determined based on the investigation, up to the carrier's liability limit or cargo insurance coverage.

4. Limitation of Liability

IN ANY CASE AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THE COMPANY (FREIGHTPK / HUMRAH FREIGHT) BE HELD RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY REFUND AMOUNTS, DISPUTE PAYOUTS, CARGO LOSS, DAMAGE, THEFT, OR DELAY COMPENSATION, CARRIER CANCELLATION CHARGES, OR PAYMENT GATEWAY FAILURES. ALL TRANSACTIONS AND AGREEMENTS ARE DIRECTLY BETWEEN SHIPPERS AND CARRIERS, AND THE COMPANY ASSUMES ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR CARRIER FULFILLMENT OR SHIPPER PAYMENT DELAYS.
